What is a subcutaneous injection?

A subcutaneous injection delivers medication directly to the layer between the skin and the muscle.

Absorption of medication taken this way takes up to 24 hours, which is slower than administering intravenously.

Usually these injections are done on the arms, thighs or abdomen but we will consult with you about the best method to use.

Administered by trained nurses

Nurse Agnes visits patients in Hampstead, North West London, Central London, Brent Cross, and Harrow.

We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to leave the house or get an appointment through your doctor which is why we bring the clinic to you.

A variety of medical care at home

Our trained nurses also offer a variety of medical services for you at home including vitamin injections, intramuscular injections and ear wax removal.
